Fountain - Large Lion
Keep the traditional look - give up the traditional weight! Our Large Lion fountain is a wall-mounted 36” tall fountain that looks as good in a large entry way or courtyard as it does on a patio or garden wall. These fountains are crafted from a fully bonded industrial grade fiberglass and resin base that is stronger and substantially lighter in weight than clay, concrete and even cast iron products and will not separate over time. The external finish of these fountains is not a painted layer. Rather the color is achieved by combining real metal with the top layer to create a unique and realistic finish that will not peel, flake or fade away. As with real metal, these stunning finishes remain true and over time their natural beauty will be enhanced, contributing to an elegant aged look. Individually handcrafted by skilled artisans, each piece is original with its own minor color variations and fluctuations in the patina, making each piece a work of art! Be aware that the Antique Metal Finish is actually rusting. This is real rust and can stain some surfaces due to bleeding. With the Antique Bronze finish the amount of verdigris will increase with exposure to the elements. If you would like to adjust the developing patina, bring back the metallic luster or buff out minor scrapes and scratches, simply take a piece of fine steel wool and briskly rub the affected areas. To slow down the developing patina simply apply a very slight touch of a hard floor wax after buffing the product with steel wool. Available in Bronze, Antique Metal, and Black Matte finishes (see dropdown menu and zoom). Antique Metal and Matte Black finishes are special order and may take up to 8 weeks for delivery. All fountains come equipped with water pumps with a volume control adjustment to control the water output. Fountains have a three year warranty.
